Face-to-face Spanish teacher training courses: the registration for Autumn 2015 is open
Starting from September the 1st 2015 you will be able to enrol on the Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher training course. The ELE course for Spanish teachers will take place at the Instituto Hemingway in Bilbao.
The course will start on October the 13th, 2015 and will end on December the 17th, 2015.The course will be available twice a day from Monday to Thursday: During the morning ( 9:30 to 11:30 pm) or during the afternoon ( 7:30 to 9:30 pm).
The entire course also has a duration of 80 hours.
The course will be offered to anyone who is interested in becoming a teacher in Spanish as a foreign language!
It will consist of the main aspects of teaching Spanish to foreigners. We will review everything from communicative skills and the task-based approach to how to work effectively with people of different language levels.
We will refer to all resources and materials that we can use in the classroom, both the ones on paper and those that exist in digital form or on the Internet. In the end we will go over all material learnt to ensure that you have understood everything.
The course is highly practical and personalized for each participant. There is a maximum of 16 participants in each group in order to allow individual help and personal attention for everybody. We will make sure that every participant will finish this course to work successfully with a class of students in the future and all the basic skills should be clear by the end.
The course is completed with an appropriate training that gives access to the job market .
During an additional practical part, the new Spanish teachers will be responsible for a Spanish class so that they can put into practice all the things they have learned.
