5 tips to make the most of your Spanish course!
These 5 tips have been thought about especially for you. Therefore, together with the effort that you put into classes, in a short space of time you will start to speak like a true Spanish speaker.
1.- Try not to speak your own language as much as you can
It’s difficult. But you’ll see that the fears of speaking a new language will start fading as you practise throughout the day. You will pick up on your mistakes as much as your progress.
2.- Change the language settings on your phone, laptop and other devices to Spanish
Although at the start you may get lost, it’s not the end of the world. This exercise can help you quite a lot in familiarising yourself with the alphabet of the language and you will also learn vocabulary such as days, months, to send, to receive, to write, as well as the fact that you will have predictive text to improve your written Spanish.
3.- Make Spanish friends
They will not only be pleased but they will also correct any mistakes that you make as well as showing you the city and helping you get to know the Spanish culture. They will also surely invite you to go partying!
4.- Learn as much new vocabulary as you can
Although some words may seem useless, never forget that at any time this knowledge could come in use. Therefore, new vocabulary will always be able to let you have new kinds of conversations.
5.- Never stop studying
Even if you have a C1 level in Spanish and you can communicate easily, you need to keep practising your Spanish because if you lose it, all the effort you have made will be useless. So keep up conversations, watch films, write stories and most importantly, live Spanish!
