My options for learning Spanish in 2020

The current health crisis affecting our world has left many questions in the air that governments everywhere have been responding to gradually, always taking care to ensure the safety of their citizens.

For this reason, most countries in the European Union will be able to start traveling.

Nevertheless, the picture is somewhat different. Terraces are not at their full capacity, you can't attend crowded events, sadly a lot of special shows have been canceled that were going to happen this 2020 just as travelling is being very limited to everyone.

For this reason, people who decide to travel to Spain this year to learn Spanish have two options:

1. Follow an online course.

Academies, in the early months of COVID-19, developed a series of online courses with which students could continue to learn Spanish from home. These courses are fully designed to be able to learn from home with the assistance of a teacher or virtual tutor.
Prices are really cheap compared to taking a classroom course. They offer multiple advantages when you are on schedule and you can even have a teacher just for you from the comfort of your own home.

2. A classroom course

Now, summer is beginning to give us our first sunny afternoons. We had plans for this year that are increasingly possible with the lifting of certain restrictions. Among them, tourism is a sector on which many sectors depend.
For this reason, Spanish schools in Spain will be happy to see students. However, how can I choose a Spanish language school that meets my needs?

To avoid potential problems, it is recommended that you to attend places in Spain where the level of tourism is low this year. We will not encounter so many problems at small airports either.

Large schools will not be able to take all students and may even maintain the same rates. Smaller schools with cheaper prices and more personal services may even understand if you have any problems while staying in town.
Some areas that may be interesting to visit at the time would be: Extremadura, Salamanca, Galicia, Cantabria or the Basque Country.
Among these territories there may be your special place to learn Spanish. Taking as an example the city of Bilbao that is located in Biscay, has the famous Guggenheim museum and very close to it is the village of Gernika.

This is just one example of the places you could visit in Spain.
