Learn Spanish in a total immersion context

Here at Closeteachers, we know that learning a second language in an immersion context makes a big difference to a student’s progress.
In a world of increasingly fewer borders and in which knowledge of second languages is becoming an increasingly sought-after skill, more and more people travel to a foreign country to learn its language in a total immersion context (for career reasons, study or simply for reasons of personal interest).
In a traditional course, a student is normally provided with a pile of learning material which is frequently ignored the moment they step out of the classroom. Being in a total immerson context goes beyond this limitation: the student’s very surroundings contribute to their language-learning (and give them a cultural education to boot).
The student is obliged to interact with their new environment, meaning that everything that they do outside the classroom must be undertaken in the target language, so that they practice the new language every day.
There are many people who advocate this learning method, and more and more students are opting to learn languages in this way, in the belief that they will obtain a rich cultural education as well. In light of all this, if you really want to learn Spanish quickly and get to know its people and its traditions, we invite you to visit Spain itself.
There are many Spanish schools in Spain which offer courses to foreigners. And for those who want to avoid non-Spanish-speakers completely, our home-stay programmes might be a good option. We offer placements with host families , and. with a Spanish teacher in their home
