Spanish courses in the North of Spain

One of the main attractions of the North of Spain is its breathtaking landscape, which allows visitors to visit both the mountains and the beach without having to travel around. This means that the possibilities for leisure activities are endless: there are ski resorts for those who love snow, waves for surf fans and hiking, bike and pony trails which offer opportunities to see the beautiful scenery. Another attraction that is not to be missed is the much-admired gastronomy of the region: Galician seafood, Cantabian mountain cooking, Basque chuletones and Asturian cider, among others, are recurring delights to visitors.

We at Closeteachers are planning to use the Christmas holidays as an opportunity to visit the Cantabrian coast, geiven the mild temperatures and wide-ranging leaisure activities.
Furthemore, visitors could spend time in such famous cities as Santiago de Compostela (the end-point for the Camino de Santiago pilgrims), Oviedo (a city that can be traced back to the Middle Ages) or Bilbao, home to the Guggenheim Museum, which at this time of year is less full of tourists.

And why not take advantage of your time in Spain to learn some Spanish? You could study in the morning, and go on trips in the afternoon, both in the city and in the country. Surely in such a context of total immersion, you’ll progress at lightning speed.

We can assure you a wonderful experience, learning Spanish, enjoying the sea and the mountains, and discovering more of this fantastic part of Spain.
