Our schools will stay open during the Holy Week celebrations
Our schools will stay open during the Holy Week (“Semana Santa”) celebrations. This is also the reason that our Spanish courses, jobs in hotels or courses for Spanish teachers (“ELE”) online will all remain open and available for those students interested in participating in any of our programmes over these holidays. If you would like to enrol for a Spanish course, Instituto Hemingway would be delighted to welcome you.
During Holy Week, our school in Bilbao will organise a variety of activities over the festive days. On Good Friday, students will be able to attend a procession and get to know how Easter is celebrated in Bilbao. On Saturday we have programmed a visit to San Sebastian and on Sunday another ascent up Mount Pagasarri is on offer for those who want to repeat their heroic achievements from a few weeks ago, as well as for those students who want to do a bit of exercise and see Bilbao from the most emblematic summit above the city.
