Visit Spain: The home of the most beautiful language and the best wine in the world!

Closeteachers has Spanish schools across Spain, from Cádiz to Bilbao, from Salamanca to Barcelona. An experienced traveller of the country understands that the country´s regions vary a great deal in terms of culture, landscape and accent.

However, despite the fact that Spain is a very diverse country, all of the autonomous communities have 2 fundamental aspects in common; the Spanish language and excellent wine!

Spanish, a beautiful language:

In any survey you will always find that Spanish is considered one of the most pleasant and attractive languages in the world. Spanish is the second most spoken first language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese! Valued as one of the most important European languages, it is spoken by almost every Latin American country, a region subject to rapid economic development. In addition, there are over 40 million Spanish speakers living in the United States. Furthermore, as a global language, Spanish is one of the 6 official languages of the United Nations.

Learning Spanish broadens horizons, creating new work and social opportunities.

Fantastic wine:

There is no doubt that the Spanish land is perfect for producing wine of all kinds, from whites to reds, both sweet and dry, and all things in between. In fact, Spain as a country has the highest quantity of grape vines in the world! Modern day archaeologists suggest that Spanish viticulture stretches back as far as 6,000 years. In other words, Spain is a veritable fountain of wine, with more than 600 different types of native grapes planted across the country. The most well-known areas that export wine include La Rioja, Jerez de la Frontera, the Region of Cava and la Ribera del Duero. From the particularly tannic Monastrell, often from the Valencian Community, to the pale, fruity Txakoli from the Basque Country, Spain offers an abundance of wines made with excellent grapes, and produced by wine oenologists with centuries of expertise.
