Gain official recognition for your Spanish skills with a Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma

The Hispanic culture in general and the Spanish language in particular have always attracted great international interest, but in the last few years this interest has shown a notable increase.

The Spanish language is currently in “very good health”: it’s the fourth most-spoken language in the world after Chinese, English and Hindi, and the number of Spanish speakers in the world will soon reach 500 million. It is studied as a foreign language in over 90 countries by around 14 million students, and it is much valued as a language of international communication.

It is therefore clear why a knowledge of Spanish opens doors in the job market. This knowledge must, however, be certified in order to take full advantage of the edge that it offers.

The entity responsible for issuing the official certificates of Spanish language competency (the DELE - Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) is the Instituto Cervantes. There are many Cervantes-accredited schools in Spain and abroad.

Closeteachers would like to remind you that the next DELE exam period is scheduled for the 25th and 26th May. This means that you still have time to prepare and take full advantage of the opportunity. All of our partner schools offer specific DELE exam revision courses. These courses are targeted not just at improving students’ language competency, but to help them to take full advantage of their skills in the context of the exam through practice questions, time trials etc.

This could be your chance to get your diploma!
